Tart of the Month: Alana Yates

March’s Tart of the Month just so happens to be Alana Yates!  Alana has been a member of the Tart Fam since August 2016, and we just love having her up in the front of house!

Coming from Sacramento, California, Alana lived in north Texas before moving to New Braunfels this past June.  While all of her family is up north, she credits her sense of adventure and wanderlust for bringing her to the Hill Country.  Moving to another region on your own is no easy task, and Alana will tell you that the best part about working for 2tarts has been meeting all sorts of new people who would become like family to her.

When she’s not serving our customers with a smile, Alana likes to pursue her hobbies in artistry.  Whether it’s taking gorgeous photos of the outdoors, watercolor-painting plant scenes or exploring her newest creative outlet- embroidery, one thing is for sure- she’s one creative and crafty Tart!  But that’s not all.  She’s been riding horses since she was a little girl.  Her love of horses has even led to her being crowned Rodeo Queen back home in north Texas, which is definitely something that not everyone can say!

Other than her love of all things creative, Alana also has a love of new experiences.  It’s not uncommon for her to spend her time away from work, unplugged and out on some adventure somewhere in the great state of Texas.  Right now, she’s gearing up for a trip with a gal-pal to Mexico.  But her ultimate bucket-list location happens to be gorgeous Iceland, and something tells us that it’s only a matter of time before she makes it there.
