Thanks to y’alls support, 2016 has been filled many exciting changes and milestones for 2tarts! We wanted to share some of our favorite moments and highlights from the past year.
Sweet 300 Grand Opening
In May, we opened our new design department and bridal lounge, Sweet 300. We now get to meet with our brides in style! Sweet 300 is a swanky tasting room and lounge where we can cater to our clients’ every need.
It also serves as a creative hub for our design and management team here at 2tarts. With this expansion, we also added a new bridal position, this has truly transformed our Design Department and the level of service we can provide. We can’t wait to see what next is store for Sweet 300!
A BRAND new look and a new website!
In 2016, 2tarts had a major face lift! After 6 years of business, we needed a fresh look. With the help of Grit and Wit Design, we decided on new logo that embodied 2tarts’ fun spirit with an edgy twist.
Along with our new Logo, our website got a total overhaul. Our in house graphic designer, Brooke Treadwell, and Odin Creative collaborated together to create a gorgeous and functional website. It is not only curated to perfection, but now includes many new interactive features. You can browse our galleries, place a custom order, make an tasting appointment, or read our latest blog post, all from the convenience of your phone! Be sure to check out our new menu boards and fun window decals at the bakery too!

For the 5th year running we have been voted Best Desserts in the New Braunfels Herald Zeitung Reader’s Choice Awards! YAY!!
DTA Business of the Year
New Braunfels Downtown Association chose 2tarts as the Business of the Year for all of our support and love the downtown New Braunfels area.

2016 Honey Summit in Chicago
In July, owners April and Ashley, were invited to their second Honey Summit in Chicago! They had an amazing time learning about honey with bakers from all over the nation. Highlights include, visiting an urban apiary, attending a honey tasting, and working in the test kitchen to come with new recipes using honey. We even got to showcase our local honey provider Gretchen Bee Ranch!
Tart Wedding: Jason and Haley tIe the knot!
Love is in the air here at 2tarts! Two of our long time tarts, Jason and Haley, made it official this November! Jason has been a barista here since 2013 and when Haley joined our baking team in 2014, they instantly hit off. We are so proud to be apart of their love story. We wish them all the luck in their new adventure!
2tarts turned 6!
For 6 crazy amazing years, we have baking our hearts out! To celebrate, we shut down the bakery and took all our employees on a Tart Float down the Comal. We have made so many happy memories in the past 6 years, here’s to the next 20!
